  • How often should I have my carpets cleaned?
It is generally recommended to have carpets professionally cleaned every 12-18 months, but it highly relays on your circumstances. If you have pets, children, allergies or smoking habit, we recommend to clean them every 3-6 months. Same advice applies to high traffic areas at your place of work. Carpets cleaned often will last longer, stay safe and look like on the day you got them.
  • Can I clean my carpets myself?
While it is possible to clean carpets yourself, professional carpet cleaning companies like ours have access to knowledge, specialized equipment and cleaning solutions that can be more effective at removing dirt and stains. In our experience using off-the-shelf products, or self hire carpet cleaning machines from your local Morrisons (You know what we're talking about), can be not very effective, costly or even damage your carpets.
  • Will carpet cleaning remove all of the stains from my carpets?
We wish we could say yes. While our carpet cleaning technicians can remove many stains, some may be permanent and may not be able to be removed completely. You can rest assured we'll do our best to remove even the most stubborn stains. You can check our before and after pictures at our Testimonials page.
  • Can I get an estimate for how much it will cost to have my carpets cleaned?
Many carpet cleaners will provide an cookie-cutter prices, or over the phone estimates but we know this approach could cost you more or is a sign of unprofessional approach of rouge cleaners trying to make quick buck. Why paying the same price as someone with carpets in salvageable state if your carpets only needs freshening up? We always give you an personalised quote based on the size and state of your carpet after examined them in person or on pictures.
  • How long will it take for my carpets to dry after they have been cleaned?
The drying time will vary depending on factors such as the humidity and temperature in the room, as well as the type of cleaning method used. Some cleaning methods, such as hot water extraction, may require several hours to dry, while others, such as dry cleaning, may dry more quickly. Talk to us about low moisture cleaning methods if you need your carpets dry in no time or want have as little impact on your business operations. And yes, you can walk on your carpet while it's drying as long as it's kept to a minimum.
  • Will professional carpet cleaning damage my carpets?
Professional carpet cleaners like AquaSweep use equipment and solutions that are designed to clean carpets without causing damage. We always check beforehand to ensure we're using methods that are appropriate for your carpet. Avoid untrained carpet cleaners that could damage your carpets using incorrect chemicals or techniks e.g. treating wool carpets like synthetic fibres.
  • Are you insured?
Yes, AquaSweep is fully insured. We understand the importance of protecting our customers' properties and our staff, so we have comprehensive insurance coverage in place.
  • Can carpet cleaning remove pet odors?
Yes, pet owners are our often clients as the cleaning process we use is perfect to remove hair, unpleasant smells, stains from little dirty paws and, eghem, accidents.

  • Are there any carpets that cannot be cleaned?
Certain types of carpets, such as those made from types of natural fibers or oriental rugs, may not be able to be cleaned with usual cleaning methods. We'll advise you on the best way to clean your beloved rug or expensive carpet.
