What can change the price
Some materials need more time and care. Here is why.
-
Man-made fibreWater sits on the surface
Natural fibreWater soaks into the fibre
ExtractCleaning solutions workDrying
Wool and other natural fibres
Natural fibres take longer to extract, the cleaning solutions need longer to work, and they take longer to dry.
-
The wrong clean1Dyes can run and transfer2Silk and viscose damage easily
Special treatmentThe right cleaning solutions, a gentle clean and more time
Delicate rugs
These rugs are easily ruined by the wrong clean, so they need special treatment and more time.
-
Protector coats each fibre
Carpet protector
A protective layer we spray on after the clean. Spills sit on top instead of soaking in, so they are easier to clean up before they leave a mark.
-
Carpets and upholstery together
Save 20% on the carpets when you book a sofa or any upholstery at the same visit. We are already there with the machine set up, so we pass the saving on to you.
Stain removal is a science
Heavy stains from £20 per area
Heavy stains need far more than a squirt of stain remover. We trained for this, and on our own time we keep testing new cleaning solutions and methods.
-
UV light
Shows stains you cannot see in daylight, and helps us remove some stains too.
-
Drop by drop
Some stains need careful work, drop by drop. We apply special cleaning solutions carefully, not one treatment for every stain.
-
Heat or light
Some stains need a boost from heat or light. It is an extra step.
-
The right cleaning solution
Stain removal is chemistry. We have several cleaning solutions and choose the right one for each stain.
Pet accidents and bodily fluids go deeper
from £55 per area
Urine, sickness, blood and other bodily fluids soak through the carpet into the underlay and can reach the floor underneath. Cleaning over the top leaves the source behind, so the smell comes back. That is why we go all the way down.
- A UV light finds the spots, including old ones you cannot see
- Special tools and treatment get it out of the underlay and the floor underneath, not just the surface
- If a pet has used the same spot many times, we tell you honestly what to expect before we start
The £85 minimum call-out charge
Every visit, big or small, has the same work around the clean. It takes the same time for one room as for a whole house, and the £85 minimum covers it.

Why a cheap clean can cost you more
We are not the cheapest, because we do the job properly. Search online for carpet cleaning horror stories and you will see what can go wrong when a job is rushed: shrunk carpets, brown marks, sofas spoiled by the wrong cleaning solution and smells that will not go away.
A clean that has to be done again, or a carpet or sofa that has to be replaced, costs far more than doing it properly the first time.

Price questions
How much does carpet cleaning cost in Glasgow?
Prices start at £40 for a bedroom, £45 for a living room, £20 for a hallway or landing and £50 for a staircase. Every visit has a minimum charge of £85.
What is the minimum call-out charge?
£85. Every visit, big or small, has the same work around the clean. We clean and check our equipment before your job, drive to you, protect your walls and floors, keep your pets safe, test the fibres, pick the right cleaning solutions, and pack away after. If your clean comes to less than £85, the visit is £85, so it is worth adding a rug or a chair while we are there.
How much does sofa cleaning cost?
Prices start at £85 for a 2 seater, £110 for a 3 seater, £165 for a 4 seater corner sofa and £200 for a 5 seater corner sofa. An armchair is £65.
How much does rug cleaning cost?
Prices start at £20 for a small rug, £55 for a medium rug and £65 for a large rug. Wool and delicate rugs take more time and care, so they cost more.
Why do you charge extra for heavy stains?
Stain removal is chemistry. Each heavy stain needs the right cleaning solution, applied carefully, sometimes drop by drop, and some need a boost from heat or light. That takes extra time and cleaning solutions.
Why do pet accidents and other bodily fluids cost extra?
They soak through the carpet into the underlay and can reach the floor underneath. Cleaning only the surface leaves the source behind, so the smell comes back. We treat each area all the way down, which takes extra time and cleaning solutions.
Why do natural fabrics cost more?
Wool, cotton and linen need more time at every stage. Extraction takes longer, the cleaning solutions need longer to work, and drying takes a bit longer.
Is the price fixed?
Yes. We confirm your fixed price from a couple of photos before you book. No hidden fees.
Can I spread the cost?
Interest free instalments may be available if you are eligible. You can choose this when you book, or pay after the clean.
What if I need to cancel?
Please give us at least 24 hours notice to cancel or move your appointment. With less notice, a £30 cancellation fee may apply, or we will agree a new date.
